Inspiration To Get Going Again?



THIS amazing person (Lynn - also bestie šŸ„°) decided she would run 2k EVERY DAY in February! Wow!


So I asked her whether it's getting a bit easier now that she is firmly over the halfway point ....she said "NO! I hate it!" šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚


But Lynn make a deal with herself and has stuck with it, and I know she will complete the month no matter what - and THAT motivation is inspiring! šŸ’“


If you want to get going again and want to follow a simple home workout plan, here's one I have in the archives ...remember to warm up properly before you start - try going up and down your stairs 10x.


Equipment Free Conditioning and Light Cardio

Please stop jumps if not comfortable

Warm up - 4 mins (stairs as above, or walk around the block)

  • Squat in natural position x15, plus 15 low jump squats

  • Squat with feet parallel x15, plus ski squat style jumps (feet at parallel)

  • Squat pile style - wide with turned out toes, (keep body very upright as if sliding down an imaginary wall) x15, plus 15 squats hops in this wide position

  • Reverse lunge right leg x15

  • Reverse lunge and knee lift, right leg x15

  • Reverse lunge add knee hop, right leg x15

  • Repeat all left leg

  • Walkout to plank and back up x5

  • 10 push ups

  • Repeat walkout x4

  • 8 push ups

  • Walkout x3

  • 6 push ups

  • Walkout x2

  • 4 push ups

  • Walkout x1

  • 2 push ups

  • Walkout plus pushup to finish

We still LOVE our Myzone belts - a simple app and strap which shows up on your phone in a bright colour to tell you which zone you are working out in - and INSPIRES you to push hard when you might feel like flaking! Lynn uses one for her classes and runs šŸ™ŒšŸ½ šŸ˜‰
