There was an article recently in the news saying that it is never “too old” to get fit.. of course there are never any negatives to starting exercise at ANY time!
I so agree with this…..I am fitter at 52 than I ever was in my twenties…
Plus I have so many clients who come to my classes from their twenties right through to their 60’s 70’s and older…. gosh I have a couple of ladies pushing weights who are over 80 – I’ve stopped asking their age lol!
Keeping active is essential for
Healthy hearts keeping blood pressure etc under control
Balance and flexibility
Looking and feeling younger
I could go on and on but if you are reading this and haven’t found an exercise you enjoy yet…try lots of different things out…there is something for everyone…I only became a fitness instructor to help me maintain fitness for my job as a firefighter, but it gave me my fitness mojo which has never left me in nearly 23 years …why? COZ I LOVE IT ?
Find your “thing” …. pole dancing / nordic walking / horse riding / ice skating / swimming / zumba / ju-jitsu ……..??????? (FF classes? ?)
Enjoy it when you find it – it becomes NO EFFORT then!
