Fran has been instructing and running Flin’s Fitness since 1995 (Fran’s Feelgood Fitness in the early days yuk!! what was I thinking!). Fran qualified with the YMCA (the fitness industry leader in training), going on to take courses in Weight Management, Fitness Assessment & Exercise Counseling, Pre & Post-Natal Exercise, Fitness Pilates and Freestyle Fitness Yoga. A member of the Register of Exercise Professionals at an advanced level 3, Fran also does personal training. Fran has 3 lovely girls… hoping at least one will take over the business when I’m teaching “chair-obics”! Most important is the back room boy, Jim (luvverly hubbie who does all the childcare when I’m teaching, fetches and carries when I’ve forgotten batteries for the head mic, routine notes or keys, any construction work etc etc none of this would be possible without you thankyou, thankyou xx) Inspiration for taking up fitness alongside her job as a firefighter was a certain colleague at work.Emma, who was herself already training as a fitness instructor!
